Job Description: Sr. Accountant Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Accountant to join our finance team. As a Sr. Accountant, you will be responsible for various financial tasks, including bookkeeping, reconciling bank statements, handling taxation compliance, and assisting with audit preparations. The role requires a keen eye for accuracy and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified professional or an experienced accounting specialist looking to grow within a dynamic organization. Responsibilities: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including bookkeeping, journal entries, and general ledger entries. Handle taxation matters, including GST and TDS compliance, ensuring all relevant documents and filings are completed in a timely manner. Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies. Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports, providing insights into financial performance. Collaborate with internal teams to review and adjust accounting entries to ensure proper allocation and accuracy. Stay updated with changes in accounting regulations and tax laws to ensure compliance. Prepare and maintain necessary documentation for audits and support audit processes. Analyze financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and areas of improvement. Participate in budgeting and forecasting exercises to support financial planning.
